Who is werkhain?

werkhain was founded in Berlin-Friedrichshain in 2024 by Manuel Leucht and is run by Leucht One GmbH. Its home is Fabrikloft, a five-storey brick building on Frankfurter Allee – around 1,400 m² of space, with community, meeting and event areas on the lower floors and quieter focus zones and lockable offices further up.

The idea: combining professional work with a real community and culture – concerts, exhibitions by local artists and regular community formats. For this, werkhain picked up three awards at the German Coworking Award 2025, including Best Newcomer Space.

What does werkhain offer?

The offering ranges from solo offices and team offices to private team floors with their own infrastructure and flexible coworking desks (FlexDesk and FixDesk). Add meeting rooms for 1 to 20 people, free phone booths, a 100 m² community kitchen, a rooftop terrace and 1,000 Mbit fibre internet.
